I am Laisim Soeung, a fashion designer based in New York City. My work explores the balance between culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary design, spanning menswear, womenswear, tailoring, couture, and accessories. I take a thoughtful and intentional approach to design, combining traditional techniques with digital processes, including technical design and 3D workflows, using technology to support and refine craftsmanship. Influenced by cultural storytelling, architectural forms, and research-driven development, my practice continues to evolve as an ongoing journey of learning and meaningful creation.

FASHION ILLUSTRATION ARTWORK 

I work as a fashion illustrator, using drawing as a way to explore silhouette, movement, and atmosphere. Through both traditional and digital techniques, my illustrations support the design process by translating concepts into clear and expressive visual form.

This portfolio features a curated selection of projects that explore fashion design through research, craftsmanship, and technical precision. Each project reflects a complete design process, from concept and illustration to development and final form.

MY DESIGN

This section presents a visual journey through my fashion collections and runway work, showcasing the final outcome of each design. Through silhouette, movement, and styling, the images highlight how concepts are translated into finished garments and presented on the runway.

ACCESSORY DESIGN

This section presents accessory design drawings, including jewelry, shoes, and bags, developed as visual explorations to support and complete each fashion concept.

WHY CL0 3D

Working with CLO 3D has been an essential part of my design practice for the past two years.

Through digital garment construction, I explore form, proportion, and movement with precision before a piece is physically made. CLO allows me to visualize ideas clearly, refine silhouettes efficiently, and experiment freely without material waste. Among all my projects, digital design in CLO has become one of my most meaningful and enjoyable experiences as a fashion designer—where creativity, technology, and craftsmanship meet.
